Ages listed are a guideline for teachers. Teachers may decide whether to place students by age or ability. Any level changes must be made within the first 2 classes of the convention.

No dance teachers, owners, directors, assistants or studio managers may register as observers.
Minis and Juniors will be combined in select cities.
Teens and Seniors will be combined in select cities.
Dancers under the age of 5, are invited to attend at the discretion of their dance teacher, studio owner AND Dancers ROCK management. Advance notification is required for special invitation.
*To qualify for Teachers Discounts, studio must be pre-registered 30 days prior to convention:

Dancers ROCK offers Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Acting & Voice, Parents Class, Ballroom and Audition Technique in each city. Plus a FREE Showbiz Seminar!
Classes, venue, city and faculty subject to change.
*Directors/Teachers may dance and observe in all ballrooms, and will have classes for “teachers only". Teachers will have Reserved seating during competition on Friday & Saturday night.
*Discount rates apply to all registrations postmarked 30 days prior to convention date.
*Observers are allowed with participating dancers and must not be teachers, dancers or studio owners.
*Observers may “observe only” in Mini, Junior, Tween, Teen and Senior ballrooms.
*All convention and competition fees are non-refundable, no exceptions.
*Convention fees must be submitted in one studio check. Competition fees must be submitted in one studio check.
*Competing dancers must be registered at convention.
*Teachers attend second city for free. Students attend second city for 50% off convention fees. Discount does not apply to competition fees or to Dancers ROCK Nationals 2010.
*No excessive talking or noise.
*No food or drink allowed in the ballrooms.
*No children under the age of 2 allowed in ballrooms at any time.
*All observers must pay observer fee regardless of age.
*No faxed registration forms will be accepted.
*No videotaping, flash photography or recording devices allowed during class time or competition. Violation will result in dismissal from convention.
*Wristbands must be worn at all times throughout the convention & competition. Please do not remove wristband at any time. Wristbands are color coded for ballroom access.
*Please advise dancers to wear "cover ups" while outside the ballroom areas.
*Please respect the privacy of hotel guests and keep noise to a minimum. *NY-LA-NASH Entertainment & Dancers ROCK reserve the right to remove or dismiss any person or persons from it's events, conventions and competitions at their sole discretion. Such action may result in disqualification.
*Welcome packets/email will be sent to each teacher/individual upon receiving registration and payment for your convention. Welcome packet will include confirmation, information regarding convention and competition.

In select cities, scholarships will be awarded to Edge and Millenium in Los Angeles and Broadway Dance Center and Steps in NYC...
PLUS the Prestigous ROCK STAR award will be awarded in each age division in each city to the dancer that proves to the faculty to be the strongest, most well rounded and most coachable dancer... ROCK STAR award winners will receive a FULL SCHOLARSHIP to a 2010 Nationals enabling them to attend the 3 day convention FREE and a spot in the Opening number at Nationals!
AND 10 "Stand Out" awards will be given to dancers that show the faculty that they can stand out among the crowd... "Stand Out" award winners are invited to perform in the Opening number at a 2010 Nationals!
